Day 1 | Arrival to Porto
Arrival at Porto International Airport. Meet & greet by a member of Portugal Holidays staff. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, afternoon free. Diner and overnight stay.
Day 2 | Porto
Welcome to Porto, a Unesco Heritage classified city. Breakfast at the hotel. Walking visit through the historical area and city centre. Visit to the former Stock Exchange Palace. Six bridges douro cruise; Free lunch. Visit to the wine cellars. Visit to the Filigree route. Diner. Overnight stay.
Day 3 | Aveiro
Departure to Aveiro. Known as the “Portuguese Venice”, the city is quietly dominated by the Ria de Aveiro, that can be navigated by getting on board of a moliceiro and go along the canals of the lagoon. The Art Nouveau houses which decorate the banks can be seen closely by taking a guided walking tour. visit to the salt production and Egg yolk Workshop. Diner and return to Porto.
Day 4 | Viseu & Covilhã
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. and departure to Viseu. Visit to the city’s historical centre. Free lunch. Visit & wine tasting at Dão wine cellars. Departure to Covilhã. Check-in followed by dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 5 | Covilhã e Fundão
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Fundão. Meeting point with a local guide for a full day visit to a clay handcraft production atelier, certified olive oil production company, a cheese factory with a tasting experience of wine, olive oil and DOP cheeses. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 6 | Seia, Schist Villages
Departure to Seia and visit to the Bread Museum. Visit to the Schist Villages. Honey production workshop; Typical village Lunch Geographically this location stands out within Portugal map. The mid-level mountains one after the other, form and horizon similar to a sea, a sea of mountains. Departure to Coimbra. Check-in. diner and overnight stay.
Day 7 | (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Coimbra. Lunch. Transfer to the airport. Farewell from Portugal, we look forward to your next visit!
