It takes you to the nearby towns with palaces and castles of enchantment, presenting the best known bay, its gastronomy and irresistible sweets. Day 1 | Arrival
Arrival at Portela Lisbon International Airport. Meet & greet by a member of Portugal Holidays staff. Transfer to the hotel, check-in and overnight stay.
Day 2 | Lisbon (B/D)
Welcome to Lisbon, Portugal’s city of light. Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the city centre main monuments near Tejo river (as Belém Tower, Padrão Descobrimentos, Monastery of Jerónimos). In the afternoon, visit to the historical centre and known neighbourhoods (bairros), Sé Cathdral, S. Jorge’s Castle, Augusta Street. Dinner at a typical restaurant. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 3 | Sintra & Cascais (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Sintra’s (Regaleira) a fairy tale village, with enchanted palaces and castles, followed by lunch. Visit to Cascais historical centre, a small town sat on a bay by the sea. Return to Lisbon for a traditional Fado singing diner. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 4 | Sesimbra e Évora (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Departure to Setubal and visit to Adega da Bacalhoa, one of Setubal’s region famous wines. Departure to Évora, a Unesco World Heritage city. Visit to the city and diner at a traditional restaurant. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 5 | Monsaraz, Borba & Estremoz (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Reguengos de Monsaraz village, recently awarded with the designation “Monument village”, visit its castle and see the Alqueva dam. Departure to Vila Viçosa there it settles the former Duques of Braganza residence and the original image of Our lady of Conception, Queen and patron of Portugal. Departure to Borba to visit and have a wine taste on Borba’s Wine Cellars. Departure to Estremoz, visit and diner. Return to the hotel in Evora and overnight stay.
Day 6 | Arraiolos & Montemor-o-novo (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel & check-out. Departure to Arraiolos, a village known for its tapestry. Departure to Montemor-o-Novo for lunch and visit to the city. Return to Lisbon. Free time at Parque das Nações and transfer to the International Lisbon Airport, for return flight. Farewell from Portugal, we look forward to your next visit!
